Information Live Technical Requirements
Minimum requirements

Windows 2000 Professional with Service Pack 4, or
- Windows XP Home with SP2, or
Windows XP Professional with SP2 - Internet Explorer 6 or 7
- A high-speed Internet connection (DSL or cable broadband or faster)
- Pentium III 550mhz or greater
- 512mb RAM or greater
Stay with Us
While using the service, browse within the Information Live frame. Using your browser toolbar to navigate or changing the address bar will terminate your Information Live session.
JavaScript and Cookies
For more advanced features, you will need to configure your PC to allow JavaScript and cookies. See your browser’s help files for instructions on these settings.
America Online
If you use America Online, you must open an Internet Explorer window and use it for your Information Live session. If you need to download the Internet Explorer browser, please go to: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/default.asp.
Firewalls
If your PC is equipped with Norton Personal Firewall, it may adversely affect your Information Live connection. It is recommended that you disable the firewall before accessing Information Live.
Macintosh
If you are using a Macintosh computer, your session may downshift to a more basic interaction than one that could be achieved with a Windows-based computer; however, you will still be able to chat with a librarian.
